Dr. Vardaman is triple board certified, having anatomic, clinical and cytopathology subspecialty boards. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Vardaman earned her medical doctorate from the University of Mississippi after obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry summa cum laude. She completed a combined Anatomic and Clinical pathology residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals and then worked in private practice. Eventually, she returned to the Dallas area to complete a surgical pathology fellowship at UT Southwestern….

During her tenure there, she led weekly Gastrointestinal, Surgical, and tumor board seminars and served on the credentialing committee for Zale Lipshy Hospital. She also served as director of the fine needle aspiration clinic at Parkland Hospital. She has published articles and presented grant-awarded research on thyroid and gallbladder diseases during her academic career. She has also been a speaker at various seminars at professional meetings in the United States and Mexico. She has now been in private practice with Greater Dallas Pathology for 30 years, focusing on gynecological, urological and dermatology related specimens as well as clinical laboratory management and quality assurance issues. Dr Vardaman is the medical director of LabCorp-Ft Worth laboratory.
Dr. Garcia is a board certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with additional board certification in Cytopathology. She specializes in interpretation of gynecologic biopsies, gynecologic cytology, fine needle aspirations, and general surgical pathology.
